A lovely selection of charcuterie and cheeses from France and the UK with biscuits and Port from the oldest Port house in the world.
House Salami(50g) This comes from Tempus, a multiple award winning charcutier based in Surrey. This offers a balanced, delicately spiced and incredibly tasty addition to any board.
Pâté(180g), Chorizo(220g) and Béret Basque au Poivre(250g) We've sourced these from our Ibaïama pork supplier. The Ibaïama pig is a slow growth black pig that spends its life in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The pâté and chorizo are flavoured with piment d'esplette (a protected spice produced exclusively in Esplette - a uniquely mild chilli and smoky flavour).
Colton Bassett Stilton (500g) - Mellow, smooth and creamy with evenly spread blue veins, it balances sweet, savoury and salty notes. Wonderously complex
Shorrock's Lancashire Bomb (460g) - Made by Andrew Shorrock using pasteurised milk from his own herd of Freisian cows and a vegetarian rennet, the cheese is matured for 24 months. It has a wonderfully creamy and crumbly texture, with a strong mature flavour - a proper tasty Lancashire Cheese. It is wrapped in muslin and dipped into wax creating a distinctive cheese like no other. The cheese is perfect for sharing, simply slice the top off with a knife and spoon out the cheese.
Camembert Fromagerie du Val d'Ay (250g) - Deeply flavoured, aged before delivery this unpasteurised cheese is everything a connoisseur would want from a Camembert.
Millers Wheat wafers (125g) - a perfect crunchy foil to the rich flavours of the cheese.
Kopke Tawny Port (75cl) - from the oldest Port house in the world, this fine port is aged oak casks providing a soft, smooth and balanced finish.
